Rick was first published at the age of 14, worked ten years on staff at the Miami Herald, starting with the Overtown riots of the late '70's, ending with the staffs Pulitzer winning coverage of Hurricane Andrew. Specializing in sports and underwater photography, Rick was the first underwater photographer on the wreck of the Atocha with Mel Fisher.
